Ana & Kini Testimonials

Have you ever heard of the "Aloha spirit?" Well, you haven't lived it until you've stayed at Beach House Hawaii. My stay at Beach House Hawaii took me away from the hectic life of today's world into a reviving paradise. The Chinese say that when you sigh, you are relieving the stress of your inner Chi; well, when I got to Beach House Hawaii and met Ana & Kini, it was like one big sigh. It's not just a peaceful corner in paradise you come to visit. The people you stay with can make a world of difference as anyone who's traveled knows. All the places they suggested I go to were just what I'd been looking for and the people I met there were all extremely friendly, warm and open. Those people in turn had other great suggestions of places to go.
Waimanalo? Even during "rush-hour" (if you can call it that), traffic would stop instantly if there was someone on the side of the road to cross. No one's in a hurry in this secluded little corner of the island. It sounds pretty sedate doesn't it? Well, guess again; Ana & Kini and their friends also know how to have fun. Sailing, diving, hiking, and kayaking were all right there to be had. My stay at Beach House Hawaii was adventure packed and yet it was anything but stressful. I was only there for a week, but I came back with a new perspective and totally relaxed.
Sound too good to be true? Go ahead, don't believe me, you'll never know what you've missed. Aloha, Chris

Written By: Leslie and John, Waimanalo HI
When we moved to Hawaii 2 ½ years ago, committing to stay at least 2 years, we only had reservations secured for one month at Ana and Kini’s “Mountain View” Beach House, in Waimanalo, HI. Our family and friends wondered where we would live and who would take care of us, some 6000 miles away. Our response to their sincere concerns was simply, “Ana will take care of us”. So they wondered, “Who is this Ana?”
I had only corresponded with Ana a few times through email and phone conversations, but I immediately felt a connection. I knew that she could be trusted and would do her best to help make our transition to Island Life as easy and enjoyable as possible.  My intuition could not have been more accurate. Going on three years later, we still live in Waimanalo, HI, and are an integral part of Ana and Kini’s Ohana.
Ana and Kini sure know how to get the most out of a Hawaiian lifestyle, and are eager to share.  Do you want the optimal beach experience? They tell you the best “local” spots to boogie board, surf, snorkel, and sail. Are you more of a Mountain lover than a beach bum? They give you hiking directions to a beautiful waterfall, with a cool fresh water pool waiting for you to take an invigorating dip. Are in interested in Hawaiian culture? They have fully embraced the spirit of Aloha, and will openly share their best experiences regarding Hula, Luau’s, yoga classes and local tours. And when they recommend a restaurant, whether it is a local plate lunch or a fine dining experience, you wouldn’t be disappointed.
Ana and Kini provide comfort in your Hawaiian home. They do the little extras, like greeting you with a fresh pineapple and Kona coffee upon your arrival. Kini keeps the tropical gardens beautifully manicured and the hot tub is always ready for a relaxing soak.
Ana and Kini are sincere and generous people. They can be counted on to meet your expectations for the perfect Hawaiian vacation. Many “Beach House Hawaii” vacation guests leave Waimanalo as friends, keeping in touch for years and revisiting often. While others, like us, just never leave. Once you find paradise, why would you?
Mahalo to Ana and Kini
